A pleasant stay.

Very helpful and professional staff, an immaculately clean one bedroom studio apartment and a fabulous outlook from the balcony onto the bushlands and the native birds. There is ample cross ventilation in the rooms which is a very nice point. Buffet breakfast was also very good. We were only a 10 minutes walk from Hastings St shops and eateries and the buggy for guests is excellent. However, some things might need attention. There was no door between the bedroom and the bathroom - and that is rather bizarre at a cost in excess of $400 per night. Some bathroom activities are not best shared so the lack of a door came as a surprise and an inconvenience. The restaurant was fully booked for dinner and not wanting to go out, we ordered room service. The app to order did not work; the phone in the room did not work but the staff at Reception arranged what we wanted. Thank you. The absence of saucers for the breakfast cups (not mugs) and the lack of serviettes with the room service meal speak of cost cutting. There was little variety in the Bar Menu with most dishes containing chilli to which I am allergic so that ruled out Bar meals. The room service menu was more comprehensive and the meals delivered were of a high standard. The pool and the gym may have seen better days and would need a significant overhaul to achieve a 4 star rating. Overall, very pleasant with some areas that do need to be fixed.

Not great for couples- or during a conference

I wouldn't normally be so critical, but there was a lot about this resort that didn't meet expectations. Firstly, we were booked into a 1BD apartment- the balcony/living room looked directly onto the road that leads into reception. Not at all aesthetic. The bathroom configuration was very cramped and light switches in separate rooms. The pool did not seem at all heated, despite advertised. There was rarely anyone managing concierge or reception (as I checked many times for buggy service and other things). Not to mention the queue of cars down the street trying to check-in. The internal roads and car parking are so narrow it causes a lot of bottleneck. Additionally, there was a conference taking place and it took over the entire restaurant! As an Accor Plus member I was looking forward to dining at Park & Cove for meals but could not. I am also an Accor Gold member, but there definitely were no perks afforded here. On a positive note, every staff member we encountered were very polite and friendly.

Friendly staff. Very professional. Great rooms. Loved the peaceful outlook too the woods. Bird life was awesome. Breakfast was a good standard. Staff worked hard to provide a great service. Parking was easy. Elevator access. Location was perfect close to Hastings St & the beach. This was our 2nd stay. We would stay again

Expected a star resort experience received a 3.5 star for the accommodation, experience, ambiance and comfort. Twin share in a small bedroom apartment, no door from the bedroom to the bathroom so zero privacy. Apartment very dated unlike any resorts I've stayed anywhere, expected and paid for 5 star received 3.5 star. Room wasn't made for the whole stay, for a 5 star resorts that's appalling. The pool is very small and nothing like a resort pool, just a pool. Food is good, location is good, quiet. Service at the bar areas could be improved maybe more training..We had to ask for dipping water for the prawns we ordered and bowl to put the prawn peels. There were only 5 customers at the time at the bar eating area. For the advertised 5 star resort this is very disappointing as we were expecting a true 5 star resort experience

Comfortable stay. Easy walk to Hastings st. Nice Environment. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the buggy service if you didn’t want to walk. Loved the amenities in the apartment and Bi fold doors and blinds were great for privacy. Breakfast was great and offered all you needed of a choice of hot and cold, pastries and fruit, cheeses and coffee and tea.
